IT Technician

**Responsibilities**:
Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and antivirus scans.

Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.

Assist in the procurement, setup, and deployment of new hardware and software.

Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding IT security and data protection.

Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference.

**Qualifications**:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and practical experience will also be considered.

Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.

Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and other server technologies.

Basic understanding of network protocols and TCP/IP fundamentals.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Skills**:
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) concepts and practices.

Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.

Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
