**Experience**:3 Years
- Execute the working in the surgical pathology section, which broadly includes - documentation, processing, embedding, section cutting and staining of all tissues/slides (as per IHC protocols)/ blocks received, prepare all the reagents.
- Receive samples promptly in the department and ensure correctness of all details for as per department policy.
- Grossing on specific samples under supervision of pathologist.
- Operate computerized/manual laboratory equipment to fix, dehydrate, and infiltrate with wax, tissue specimens to be preserved for study by pathologist.
- Prepare slides of specimens, using specified stain to enhance visibility under microscope and examine slides (under microscope) to ensure tissue preparation meets laboratory requirements and detect deviations from norm and report abnormalities for further study.
- To maintain equipment as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- To manage stocks of reagents/chemicals & ensure timely requisition and maintain stock register.
- To maintain quality data, documentation, control charts as per the QMS of the laboratory.

- Experience and skill of Histopathology sample identity maintenance and knowledge of its importance
- Skill and experience of surgical pathology sample processing
