- Job Purpose
- Responsible for establishing and managing the scope, design drawings, schedule, Purchase requests, Purchase orders and start-up of various Capital Projects focusing on material handling and documentation, ensuring that all company regulations and procedures are followed and that all work is done in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
- Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to- Prepare the Project proposals, detailed drawings and specifications for assigned projects using AutoCAD and Novartis Standards and Delivers CAD drawing inputs in any project timely and effectively
- Prepare technical drawings and plans for building and manufacturing by using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD or CADD) software programs
- Should coordinate with builders to establish requirements and understand design concepts. When deficiencies occur, CAD engineer revise designs to eliminate problems.
- Should be able to visually communicate concepts, draw well and be very detailed and knowledge on developing 2D or 3 D drawings
- Responsible for Base Object Configuration, Structures and representation in the Navigator, Properties, behavior and appearance of objects in COMOS
- Responsible for Configuration Definition, Creation, and Management ,Handling of the context menu in COMOS
- Responsible for Creating Equipment Objects and Elements in COMOS ,Tabs & Attributes catalogue, Handling of attributes, Create, manage, link, Selection Lists ,Queries, XML Export Templates, Use of COMOS Object Debugger for Scripting in COMOS

**Minimum requirements**
- What you’ll bring to the role:
- Significant impact on the success of Engineering Project in NTO Sites by driving common facilities and service standards, processes and reporting to create greater transparency and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory regulations regarding facility operations
- Good Knowledge of Project management like - Project planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Construction management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Safety Management & required Statutory approvals management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD

Desirable requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technologist program (equivalent field experience)
- Minimum 5 years’ of experience in any type of in construction or Healthcare industries. Hands-on experience with COMOS AutoCAD - 2 D, 3 D, CMMS material handling and documentation is required
