**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Teaching**:
- Provide individual and group violin lessons to students of various age groups and skill levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and competitions.
- **Curriculum Development**:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the violin curriculum.
- Stay current with the latest teaching methods and trends in violin pedagogy.
- **Performance**:
- Actively participate in faculty concerts and recitals to showcase your talent and inspire students.
- Encourage and support students in participating in public performances.
- **Student Assessment**:
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
- **Mentoring and Advising**:
- Mentor and advise students on their educational and career goals in music.
- Offer guidance on repertoire selection and career development.
- **Service and Engagement**:
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental activities.
- Engage in outreach and community service activities related to the music program.
**Qualifications & Experiences**:
- Masters degree or equivalent in Music with a specialization in Violin performance or education.
- Strong proficiency in violin performance and pedagogy.
- Minimum 5 years of proven teaching experience at the university, conservatory, or private institutional level.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and musical excellence.
- Previous performance experience is preferred.
