Job Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for IT Hardware Product Sales is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding market presence for the company's IT hardware products. The BDM will focus on developing strategies to increase revenue, managing the entire sales cycle, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- **New Business Development**:

- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the IT hardware sector.
- Research market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to target potential clients.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects and convert leads into customers.
- **Sales Strategy and Planning**:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
- Collaborate with the sales team to execute sales plans and penetrate key markets.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track progress and performance.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- **Product Expertise and Support**:

- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's IT hardware products (servers, networking devices, storage solutions, etc.).
- Provide customers with expert advice on product features, benefits, and potential solutions to meet their IT infrastructure needs.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met and technical issues are addressed.
- **Market and Competitor Analysis**:

- Stay updated with market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the IT hardware space.
- Provide insights to the marketing and product teams to refine offerings and improve positioning in the market.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical support, and product development) to deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Ensure smooth communication between departments to provide customers with exceptional service and support.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts within CRM systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT hardware sales, with a strong understanding of the industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks.
- Technical knowledge of IT hardware (servers, storage, networking devices, etc.) and familiarity with sales cycles in the B2C environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.

Preferred:

- Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or distributors.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and IT infrastructure solutions.

Pay: ₹8,891.73 - ₹45,413.51 per month
