**GENERAL FOREMAN FOR ROAD AND INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION**

**Job summary**

Supervise skilled and unskilled labor on the construction site

Assure efficient and timely completion of the construction work

Aid in assuring vehicle and machinery access on the site in coordination with the site engineer

**Job seniority: Associate level**

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor for disciplinary violations on the construction site and immediately report to the site engineer.
- Make sure working hours, breakfast, lunch break, overtime and holiday overtime are adhered to.
- Obey the safety officer in regards to stopping work in case of safety misconduct
- Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to ensure that specifications of safety are met in coordination with the safety officer
- Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
- Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction workers.
- Assign work to construction workers, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs by the site engineer.
- Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
- Aid in the appropriate use of material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
- Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.

**Requirements**:

- Order or requisition materials or supplies.
- Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.
- Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
- Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
- Coordinate with transportation foreman for repairs of equipment or machinery.
- Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment.
- Record information, such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
- Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or hires of labor.

**Salary**: ₹79,120.00 - ₹90,423.00 per month
