To fill PLC programmer positions, companies prefer applicants with bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

**Responsibilities**

**Aptitude and Tools**

Integration managers must have a knack for troubleshooting complex operating system problems. They also need effective communication skills and time-management aptitude. To complete the required tasks satisfactorily, they often use network analyzers, computer tool kits and web platform development software such as JavaScript.

**Education and Earnings**

Integration managers generally hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.

As a Controls/PLC/Electronics Tech and/or Programmer with PMG, you will work for clients who manufacture and install OR utilize automated or manufacturing equipment for the automotive, defense or aerospace, oil & gas industries in addition to a multitude of additional industries and job shops.

You will be a part of the troubleshooting, editing/modifying, and/or programming of a wide variety of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment including robotic or automated systems.

Our clients are looking for Technicians with proficiency in the following:

- Troubleshooting, editing, modifying, and/or programming machine controls, PLCs, and HMIs
- Familiarity with industrial or manufacturing equipment and systems
- Ability to provide insight and share knowledge to ensure process efficiency and improvement

**Job Requirements**

We are looking for PLC/Controls/Electronics Technicians with education or on-the-job training as well as hands-on experience in machine tools and robotic/automated equipment used in manufacturing facilities. Additionally, you must have the expertise and professionalism to perform exceptionally well and with mínimal guidance in any given manufacturing situation. You must also be an excellent communicator with the interpersonal skills to interact effectively with everyone from customers and top-level supervisors/managers to engineers and machinists, and other production staff.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a PLC Programmer or Controls Technician
- Thorough understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), sensors, electrical and mechanical systems, control panels, and circuit boards
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and/or repair robotic, automated, or other machine tools and automated equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training/certifications/work experience in Robotic and Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- The ability to travel and commit to assignments ranging from 3 months to 1 year
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime for the duration of the assignment (50+ hours per week)

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
