Job brief

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Purchase Executive to join our team as the Chemical Purchase Executive (Domestic, International, Import & Export) for Raw Materials in the Chemical Industry. As a Chemical Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement of chemicals and related materials for our company. Your main objective will be to ensure a steady supply of high-quality chemicals while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Primary responsibility includes developing a network of vendors for our purchased products and negotiating rates, delivery periods, payment schedules, etc. highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each vendor based on their previous performance, handling and consistency.

**Responsibilities of Chemical Purchase Executive**
- Research and identify potential suppliers for various chemicals, evaluating their products, prices and delivery terms.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future demand to avoid stockouts and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Track market trends and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions and take advantage of cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinating with the team to ensure that materials reach in a timely manner as per the requirement
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Manage the purchase order process, including order placement, follow-up and receipt confirmation.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in chemical sourcing and procurement strategies.
- Handle day to day purchase activities like engineering material/Lab chemical/Raw material & packing material procurement.
- Handling day to day activities in coordination with internal/external departments for smooth business operations.
- Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
- Coordinate with the General Manager on day to day activities.

**Job Requirements**

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive (Domestic/International and import/Export) 3-5 years in Chemical Industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities to manage procurement processes and data.
- Knowledge of chemical properties, safety protocols, and storage requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as per requirement.
- Languages known English, Hindi & Marathi
