**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for test case design, test execution, test data preparation, test automation and defect reporting to ensure coverage and quality
- Contribute to test framework development and software tool validation initiatives
- Contribute actively to development of testing tools/utilities on need basis
- Interact with cross-functional team members to develop and refine test strategy and effort estimation
- Adherence to committed milestones and agreed scope of builds/releases by completing the assigned activities as planned, proactively highlighting dependencies & risks for assigned activities
- Ensure complete test coverage of SW changes/scope
- Drive reviews with quality team and ensure closure of all comments/gaps/non-compliances
- Review test artifacts and drive improvements in V&V efficiency across release trains
- Communicate test results and defect reports to stakeholders periodically
- Assist in the documentation of traceability from requirements to verification records and from requirements to design entities
- Adhere to agreed agile/scrum practices, deliverables and ceremonies and usage of JIRA on a daily basis
- Conduct trainings and provide assistance to junior test engineers as needed
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems and possess the ability to think abstractly

**Essential Qualifications**:Bachelors in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or a related specialization with 6-10 years of related work experience

**Key Skills**:

- 6-10 years of experience in software testing with minimum of 4 years into test automation
- Proficient in testing methodologies, processes, tools and techniques
- Solid programming skills
- Hands-on experience in building test automation using Selenium with Python/Java/Ruby
- Hands-on experience in API/web services testing and use of automation frameworks like RESTAssured
- Possess superior debugging skills to discover causes of test failures and environment issues
- A deep understanding of multiple forms of software testing throughout the entire SDLC
- Good understanding of TDD/BDD methodologies
- Sound knowledge of enterprise software automation frameworks
- Strong in database concepts -> Queries, joins, stored procedures
- Well versed with healthcare processes and best practices
- Sound in technical documentation
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Ant and Linux OS
- Experience working in agile model and good knowledge of JIRA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner and self-starter, able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsISTQB Certification
- Experience in verification for renal care/dialysis products
- Knowledge of medical device software development including knowledge of standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971
