**Job Summary**:
As a Production Chemist in our API Bulk Drug and Formulation departments, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include executing production activities, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining equipment, and participating in process improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute production processes for API Bulk Drug manufacturing, including synthesis, purification, and isolation operations, while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Perform batch production activities for formulation manufacturing, including blending, granulation, compression, and coating processes, ensuring product quality and yield targets are met.
- Operate and maintain production equipment and instrumentation, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and record critical process parameters and product characteristics throughout production runs, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure product integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs, to support investigations, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Assist in the preparation and review of batch records, standard operating procedures, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Train and mentor junior production staff on manufacturing procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, environmental compliance, and employee conduct.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in API Bulk Drug manufacturing, formulation development, or pharmaceutical production is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA) is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

**Work Environment**:
The Production Chemist will primarily work in a manufacturing facility, which may involve exposure to chemicals, noise, and other hazards typical of pharmaceutical production environments. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided, and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
