The HVAC Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in various facilities, including commercial buildings, industrial plants, and residential complexes. Their primary objective is to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC equipment to maintain comfortable and safe indoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- **HVAC System Operation**: Operate, monitor, and control HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, air handling units, pumps, and controls, to maintain desired temperature, humidity, and air quality levels.
- **Routine Maintenance**: Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing filters, belts, and other components to ensure HVAC equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions or performance issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- **Repair and Replacement**: Conduct repairs or replacements of faulty HVAC system components, such as motors, compressors, valves, and sensors, following manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
- **Energy Management**: Implement energy-saving measures and optimization strategies to improve HVAC system efficiency and reduce energy consumption, including adjusting setpoints, scheduling equipment operation, and recommending equipment upgrades.
- **Environmental Compliance**: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to HVAC system operation and refrigerant handling, including proper refrigerant recovery, recycling, and disposal practices.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs performed, utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other tracking tools as required.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when servicing equipment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in HVAC systems preferred.
- Proven experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
- Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC control software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations, as needed.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
