**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Loading and Unloading**: Safely load and unload cargo from ships using various equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- **Cargo Handling**: Handle different types of cargo including containers, bulk goods, machinery, and other commodities ensuring proper stowage and securing methods are applied.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate heavy machinery and equipment to move cargo, such as cranes, gantries, hoists, and conveyors, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- **Stowing and Securing**: Properly stow cargo in holds or on decks of vessels, ensuring it is safely secured to prevent shifting during transit.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, including quantities, types, and destinations, and complete necessary paperwork or electronic documentation.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during cargo handling operations.
- **Communication**: Coordinate with ship captains, port authorities, and other personnel to ensure smooth cargo operations, including communicating any issues or concerns promptly.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and report any malfunctions or defects for repair.
- **Teamwork**: Work collaboratively with other stevedores and port workers to efficiently handle cargo and complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.
- **Emergency Response**: Be prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, such as spills or accidents, following established protocols to mitigate risks and ensure safety.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
