Jewellary Cashier

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Provide exceptional service to customers by greeting them, answering questions, and assisting with their purchases. Handle customer transactions with professionalism and accuracy.
- **Cash Handling**: Process sales transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while maintaining accuracy in change and receipts.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist with the organization and display of jewelry items. Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low inventory to management.
- **Sales Support**: Provide information about products, promotions, and services. Upsell and cross-sell jewelry and related products as appropriate.
- **Store Maintenance**: Ensure the sales floor and cashier area are clean and organized. Assist in keeping the store environment welcoming and well-maintained.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions. Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to security and loss prevention.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred. Experience in jewelry retail is a plus.
- **Skills**: Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Basic computer skills.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Availability**: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
