**Overview**:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Payroll Processor to join our Client's dynamic startup team in Gurgaon. As a Payroll Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions for growing workforce. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for employees using payroll software/systems.
- Verify accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Calculate overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding payroll processing.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Generate payroll reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and employee records.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Payroll Processor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
- Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP).
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational and time-management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
