Bengaluru, India RANGADORE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL Full time

Insurance claims and recovery through effective liaisoning with insurance companies while maximizing patient satisfaction.
- Responsible for overseeing the insurance operations and designing, implementing and training the hospital staff on insurance protocols.
- Responsible for supervising operations within a Medical insurance practice. Manages adjusters, investigators, and appraisers. Insurance claims are processed in a timely manner and resolves issues that arise during process.
- To promote the image of the Hospital, not only with the patient, but with their relatives, visitors and Insurance representatives.
- As an Insurance Incharge you must have a clear understanding of the Hospital Vision and Mission Statements and be able to translate them into reality through your day-to-day relation with the insurance companies, companions and other hospital staff members.
- Working with problem claims & denials.
- Ensuring coverage of claims, guiding staff for correct usage of claim forms, approval papers.
- Explaining coverage of medical benefits to patients when required.
- To liaise with patients regarding their eligibility and entitlements.
- To train and educate staff in insurance matters.
- To report the management on insurance matters.
- To co-ordinate and co-operate with colleagues of the same department and other related departments for smooth running of Insurance operations.
- Organize training session for concerned employees to develop their understanding of insurance policies and condition.
- Reviews insurance claims to ensure accuracy as per agreement, prior to dispatch to respective insurance companies.
- Proactively reports critical issues to Management
- Conducts weekly departmental meetings with staff for updates and to educate them on new work methods.
- Maintenance of hospital tariff for both IP & OP
- Provide the necessary guidance and on-job coaching and in-service training for the staff under your direct supervision.
