**POSITION PURPOSE**:
**Responsibilities**

**DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform functional and regression testing.
- Document test results and follow-up with development team for resolving issues.
- Should be expert in functional and regression testing.
- Should have good knowledge of test entry, exit criteria, RTM.
- Should have extensive knowledge on selenium with python and should have hands on experience in scripting in selenium automation and framework development.
- Should be able to support design and maintenance of automation test framework.
- Should be able to support automation test design, maintenance, execution, and analysis of test report.
- Should be able to perform all testing related activities in the project.
- Should be good in defect raising and detect retesting as well
- Should have knowledge in any test management tools (ALM/JIRA).
- Ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Must have good analytical skills.
- Knowledge on Capital Markets domain is added advantage.

**CONTRIBUTING RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Communicating and escalating issues and status.
- Contribute to regression testing for the release.
- Ensure all the Jira/Requirements for the release are tested within timeliness and schedule.
- Maintain quality of deliverable.

**TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES**:

- Should be good in HP ALM, JIRA and should have good communication skills
- Should have good command in manual testing and manual testing concepts (MUST HAVE)
- Should have good command in automation scripting (MUST HAVE)
