**About Us**:
L'Opera French Bakery is a leading name in artisan bakery and patisserie, renowned for our authentic French pastries, breads, and gourmet culinary experiences. We are expanding our culinary team and are looking for a passionate and skilled DCDP Savoury Chef to join us.

**Job Overview**:
As a DCDP Savoury Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie and the culinary team in preparing high-quality savoury dishes, ensuring that they meet our exceptional standards of taste, presentation, and consistency. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie to manage your section, helping to create memorable dining experiences through our savoury offerings, such as sandwiches, quiches, salads, and other French-inspired dishes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting savoury dishes in accordance with L'Opera’s recipes and quality standards.
- Manage your section during service, ensuring that food is prepared and plated efficiently while maintaining the highest quality.
- Handle all mise en place preparation, ensuring that ingredients are ready and well-organized for the daily service.
- Contribute to the development of new savoury dishes, helping with ideas, testing, and feedback during the menu planning process.
- Ensure that food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly followed at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially during peak hours.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Chef de Partie for ingredient ordering and stock rotation to avoid waste.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items to maintain optimal freshness and quality.
- Assist in training and guiding commis chefs and other junior staff members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, including utensils and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use at all times.
- Manage portion control and waste, ensuring that dishes are cost-effective without compromising quality.
- Participate in kitchen meetings, offering suggestions for improvement and maintaining a positive attitude within the team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a DCDP or similar role in a bakery, bistro, or restaurant environment, with a focus on savoury French cuisine.
- Strong understanding of savoury cooking techniques and French culinary traditions.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A passion for high-quality, artisanal cuisine with a creative approach to food preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
- A culinary degree or equivalent qualification in culinary arts is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
