**Job Description: Staff Nurse**

**Position Summary**:
A Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the highest standard of care for patients. The nurse plays a critical role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in hospital, clinical, or home settings.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**: Provide direct nursing care to patients, including physical assessments, monitoring, and administration of treatments and medications.
- **Care Planning**: Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on patients’ specific conditions and needs, in consultation with doctors and the healthcare team.
- **Vital Signs Monitoring**: Regularly monitor and document patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and oxygen levels.
- **Medications & Treatments**: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring proper dosage and observing for adverse reactions.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients and their families on their health conditions, medications, treatments, and self-care practices.
- **Patient Records**: Accurately maintain and update patient records and documentation, including patient histories, care plans, and treatment notes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- **Emergency Response**: Provide immediate response and care during medical emergencies, including life-saving procedures such as CPR.
- **Infection Control**: Ensure adherence to infection control policies and protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- **Equipment Use**: Utilize and maintain medical equipment and devices, ensuring proper functioning and reporting malfunctions.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for registration.
- Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or in a related nursing position (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and emergency care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities.
- BLS/ACLS certification (Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is an advantage.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
