**Job Summary**:
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping department in a hotel. This role involves maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities. The Executive Housekeeper plays a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Training**:
Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housekeeping supervisors, and laundry staff.
Conduct regular training sessions to ensure all employees are knowledgeable about cleaning standards and safety procedures.
**Cleaning and Maintenance**:
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
Order and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment.
**Quality Control**:
Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff and conduct regular quality control checks to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
Address guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping promptly.
**Budget Management**:
Develop and manage the housekeeping department's budget, including labor, supplies, and equipment costs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
**Safety and Compliance**:
Ensure that all safety and hygiene regulations are followed by housekeeping staff.
Maintain records of cleaning and maintenance activities for compliance purposes.
**Inventory Management**:
Maintain accurate records of linen, towels, and cleaning supplies inventory.
Replenish supplies as needed and control costs.
**Guest Relations**:
Foster a guest-centric approach among housekeeping staff to enhance guest satisfaction.
Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
**Communication**:
Collaborate with other hotel departments, especially Front Office, to ensure smooth guest transitions and resolve issues.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and techniques.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with housekeeping software and systems.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
