**About the Program**:
Intervention Abhaya focuses on empowering the adolescent girls & women by imparting self
- defence training, combative training, & sensitizing them about their rights & social welfare entitlements. The intervention also focuses on providing a supportive environment to the adolescent girls & women of the community where they can build life skills & express their opinion freely.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engage with individuals & community groups in/ nearby project locations to identify local interests, needs & ways to achieve the interventional objectives.
- Promoting & setting up of fitness centre to encourage & influence the importance of self-defence & fitness among the adolescent girls & other community members.
- Coordination with the external trainers, consultants, & experts to support interventional activities.
- Ensure active participation and interaction of various stakeholders in the interventional activities as per the work plans and objectives.
- Program tracking and financial management will need to be followed up with regular tracking of progress against the plan. Financial management will comprise ensuring that expenditure on the ground is as per plans and that any deviations are being recorded and managed efficiently.
- Planning, developing systems & processes concerning the interventional activities for the field team.
- Regular liaison and communication with central teams with respect to the emerging needs and demands at any point in time and facilitating processes through reports, internal coordination, communication, documentation, and planning. The Associate will also continuously collaborate with relevant teams across the organization (content, M&E, finance, etc.) as required to ensure smooth operations and timely implementation.
- Provide documentation support to the organization - reports, documentation, and other organizational documents.
- Support the team in preparation of required resource materials to ensure quality alignment of the intervention with responsibility to deliver the same as per the requirement.
- The intervention associate will be responsible for mentoring of the field team, assessing the training need, and holding weekly review meetings to ensure timely execution of interventional activities.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to your immediate supervisor.

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- **Knowledge of local language (read, write & speak) & English (read, write & speak) is a compulsion.**
- Should be open to travel & undertake field work.
- Should be a localite or needs to re-locate to the intervention site.
- Should have a two-wheeler.
- Knowledge and understanding on issues related to education and community.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Function as a team player.
- Ability to meet the reporting deadlines.

**Experience**:Minimum experience of at least 1-2 years in implementation of community interventions in the development sector.

**Position Availability**:Immediate

**Salary**:The salary shall commensurate with the experience & performance during the interview.
