Legal Advisor

The Legal Advisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing all legal and statutory aspects of the company. This role involves providing legal guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and representing the company's interests in legal matters.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide legal counsel and advice to the company on various legal issues, including corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure they are accurate, clear, and compliant with applicable laws.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that could impact the company's operations and provide guidance accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address legal concerns, mitigate risks, and develop strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Handle legal disputes, negotiations, and settlements in a professional and effective manner.
- Assist in the management of intellectual property rights, trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, filing deadlines, and reporting obligations.
- Conduct legal research to support decision-making and ensure that the company's actions align with legal standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of legal documents, correspondences, and actions.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and represent the company's interests in legal proceedings when required.
- Provide legal training to company employees to enhance understanding of legal matters and compliance.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is required; Master's degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a legal advisor or in a similar legal role.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to assess complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in legal research and document review.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
