7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope

This role will be responsible for owning, driving and solutioning external facing relationships with issuing & acquiring banks, card networks, payment processors, and technology service providers for payment experience and cost related initiatives for payment acceptance. This role will also involve work with torso and long tail banks to scale existing experiences like fastlane and build scalable experiences and Invent/ scale commercial models with banks/networks/partners to drive long term and medium-term reduction in cost of payments.

The following are the key roles and responsibilities of this role:

- Drive COP reduction through a) Contract negotiations b) Processing optimizations like cost based routing, On-us routing, c) Strategic levers like EMI, treasury relationships etc.
- Drive adoption of existing solutions like fastlane and build new proprietary experience solutions like tokenization, instant refunds.
- Drive external payment acceptance policy and framework to determine which instruments to accept and their prioritization framework and internal payment acceptance policy for various Amazon businesses.
- Drive payment related initiatives for other teams within India Payments and category teams in collaboration with banks, card networks and payment processors.

The role involves working with senior external stakeholders like payment heads of banks, processors, networks and internal stakeholders - L7 leaders for CBCC, affordability, electronification, category, trans, global acceptance team for experience related initiatives like tokenization and leveraging global relationships for COP.
