Job Title: CAD Pattern Making and Cutting Master

Overview: As a Pattern Making and Cutting Master for High Fashion Womenswear apparel you will play a pivotal role in the production process by creating precise patterns and overseeing the cutting of materials to ensure the efficient manufacturing of high-quality garments. You will collaborate closely with design production, and look after the quality assurance to ensure that all patterns and pieces meet specifications and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pattern Creation:

- Develop and create patterns for a variety of garment styles based on design specifications, sketches, or samples.
- Expert in utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software or manual and traditional drafting techniques to draft accurate patterns.
- Material Utilization:

- Optimize material usage to minimize waste during the cutting process.
- Calculate fabric consumption and pattern layouts efficiently to achieve cost-effective production.
- Sample Development:

- Create prototype samples based on initial designs to test for fit, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to make adjustments and refinements as needed.
- Cutting and Stitching Supervision:

- Supervise the cutting process to ensure accurate cutting of fabric according to approved patterns.
- Train and guide cutting technicians to maintain quality standards and productivity targets.
- Quality Control:

- Conduct thorough quality checks on patterns and cut pieces to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and resolve any pattern or cutting-related issues to maintain high product quality.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:

- Maintain detailed records of patterns, pattern revisions, and cutting specifications.
- Document any modifications or adjustments made during the pattern making and cutting process.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate closely with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on pattern requirements and production timelines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any pattern-related challenges or concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pattern Maker or Cutting Master in the apparel industry, preferably with experience in both export and domestic markets specially for ladies apparel.
- Proficiency in pattern making software such as Optitex, Gerber AccuMark, or Lectra Modaris, as well as traditional pattern drafting techniques.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and cutting techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in pattern creation and cutting supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Manufacturing, or at least 5 to 10 years experience in related field as a Pattern and Cutting Master for Export and Domestic Products specifically for ladies and men apparel.
- Experience working with a variety of garment types and materials, including woven and knit fabrics.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to pattern making and cutting for Export and Domestic Products specifically for ladies and men apparel.
