**Roles and Responsibilities**

As a Staff AI Scientist, you will be part of the AI group in the Science & Technology Organization working with cross-disciplinary team on commercially-facing development of Healthcare products, typically involving large, complex signal and imaging data sets. These teams typically include AL Scientists, ML Engineers, Statisticians, Computer Scientists, Software Developers, Hardware Engineers, Product Managers, and Clinicians, working in concert with partners in GEHC business units.
- Understand state-of-the-art in the field, and lead project teams to generate IP, including patents and publications in top journals and conferences
- Lead teams on technologies that accelerate workflows, optimizes patient specific imaging and create device agnostic imaging algorithms
- Work with team to do fast prototyping, feasibility studies, specification and implementation of medical imaging product components.
- Work with customers to understand algorithm and workflow requirements and deliver solutions

**Qualifications/ Requirements**
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering/Electronics and communication engineering with specialization in medical imaging.
- Proven track record in design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms. Advanced understanding of machine learning, computer vision or deep learning.
- 5+ years of experience in medical imaging
- 5+ years of proven experience in Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computer Vision fields
- Demonstrated theoretical and practical background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistical Pattern Recognition, Applied Mathematics, Medical Imaging, Natural Language Processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition,
- Proven publication record in Journals of International repute and conferences such as ISBI, ICLR, NIPS, OHBM and others
- Proven expertise with Python, C++, and deep learning libraries
- Demonstrated team work skills and empathy
- Proven experience in AI, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computer Vision fields
- ** Leadership**
- Demonstrated skill at leading a project team
- Demonstrated skill in prioritization and goal orientation
- Highly Fluent in presentation and influencing skills
