We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Captain to join our front-of-house team and learn the ropes of providing exceptional service to our guests. The Trainee Captain will work closely with experienced staff and management to develop their skills in customer interaction, order handling, and overall restaurant operations.

**Responsibilities**:
**Learning and Development**:Shadow experienced Restaurant Captains and waitstaff to understand best practices in guest interaction, order taking, and service delivery.
Participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with the restaurant's menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods.

**Guest Service**:Assist in greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, and taking drink orders.
Observe how to engage with guests, answer their questions, and provide recommendations.

**Order Support**:Learn how to accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen, ensuring modifications and special requests are communicated clearly.
Assist in coordinating order timing to ensure a seamless dining experience.

**Table Management**:Observe how to manage table reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements effectively.
Learn to clear and reset tables promptly for incoming guests.

**Upselling and Recommendations**:Work alongside experienced staff to understand the art of suggesting additional menu items, specials, and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.

**Team Collaboration**:Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to support a smooth flow of service.
Assist in communicating guest preferences and special requests to the kitchen.

**Hygiene and Compliance**:Learn about hygiene and safety standards in food handling, cleanliness, and guest interactions.
Adhere to restaurant policies and regulations to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests.

**Professional Growth**:Actively seek feedback from experienced staff and management to continuously improve your skills.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as you progress.

**Qualifications**:

- No prior experience required; willingness to learn and a passion for the hospitality industry are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with a desire to provide outstanding service.
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to tasks and learning.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Koramangala, Bangalore India - 560 095: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
