We are seeking a skilled Workday Architect with extensive experience in system design, data mapping, integration, and a strong background in software development. As a Workday Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Workday solutions to meet the needs of our organization. This role requires a minimum of 6 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Workday architecture. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Workday Architecture**: Design, configure, and implement Workday solutions to support various business functions and processes.
- **Integration**: Develop and manage integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- **System Design**: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient system designs within the Workday platform.
- **Data Mapping**: Define data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate data migration and integration between Workday and external systems.
- **Software Expertise**: Utilize your strong software development skills to customize and extend Workday functionality through integrations, custom reports, calculated fields, and business processes.
- **Documentation**: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.
- **Troubleshooting and Support**: Provide technical support for Workday-related issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to ensure system stability and performance.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors, to align Workday solutions with business objectives and requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of overall experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience specifically focused on Workday architecture.
- Strong understanding of Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Talent Management.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Cloud Connectors.
- Experience with Workday integrations using SOAP/REST APIs, Web Services, and ETL tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and version control systems.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Workday certifications such as Workday Certified Integration Consultant and Workday Certified Studio Consultant are preferred but not required.
