Calligrapher

Are you a talented calligrapher with a keen understanding of art and design? Do you have a knack for creating fonts that perfectly match the vibe and aesthetic of visual artwork? We're seeking a skilled calligrapher and font designer to collaborate with our fashion brand on a freelance basis. As a Calligrapher & Art-Inspired Font Designer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to infuse your creativity into our brand by producing unique, handcrafted fonts that complement our artistic vision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create custom calligraphy designs and fonts inspired by our brand's artistic direction, incorporating elements of fashion, culture, and creativity.
- Work closely with our design team to understand the brand's aesthetic and translate it into captivating typography that enhances the overall visual identity.
- Develop a range of font styles and variations that reflect different moods, themes, and collections within our brand.
- Collaborate with artists, photographers, and other creatives to ensure cohesion between font design and visual artwork.
- Provide guidance and expertise on typography best practices to ensure consistency and impact across various brand assets, including packaging, marketing materials, and digital platforms.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a calligrapher and font designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in both disciplines.
- In-depth understanding of art and design principles, with the ability to translate visual concepts into unique and engaging typography.
- Proficiency in various calligraphy styles and font creation techniques, with a focus on handcrafted, artisanal designs.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, impactful designs that resonate with our target audience.
- Experience in the fashion industry or a demonstrated understanding of fashion aesthetics is preferred but not required.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
