**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Electrical Sustenance Engineer is responsible for assisting and providing innovative and cost-effective solutions requiring the development or sustaining of new or improved techniques, procedures or products
- 1. Clear understanding of Schematics, PCB Libraries and multilayer PCB design tools.
- 2. Strong knowledge on Component selection, Circuit design, simulation.
- 3. Ability to understand legacy designs without detailed design documents.
- 4. Electrical Design & Engineering, Electrical Harness routing, Electrical Schematics, Electrical System, Electrical Validation, Troubleshooting electronic/electrical systems.
- ** Required Skills (Technical Competency)**:
1. Independently troubleshoot component failures, root cause analysis and propose suitable solutions.
- 2. Responsible for Component selection, testing and qualification.
- 3. Ability to read datasheets, interpret data and conclude best suited part as substitutes.
- 4. Electrical design of cables - Wiring diagrams, cable diagrams & schematics.
- 5. Identifying the suitable material, Creating EBOM, DFM/DFA.
- 6. Team player to collaborate with PCB designers, Mechanical Designers and component and PCB vendors.
- 7. Follow client specific documentation standards for all rework and new documents.
- 8. Experience working with Oil and Gas industry companies.
- 9. Familiar with International codes and standards like ANSI, IPC, API
- 10. Minimum 5+ Years of PCB design experiences
- 11. Minimum 20-25 complex PCB design complete (Schematics till Gerbers) experience in Mentor graphics PADS
- 12. Parts Library creation
- 13. Complex design handling experience of >10 layers
- 14. Strong communication skills
- ** Desired Skills**:
1. Strong fundamentals in electronics systems and working knowledge of standard lab equipment (scopes, DMM, impedance analyzers, power supplies, etc.) is much preferred.
- 2. Working knowledge in the following domains like analog, digital and mixed signal designs.
- 3. Working knowledge of Mentor Graphics PADS Logic and Layout is a plus.
- 4. Working Knowledge of state-of-the-art methods & tools used in electrical design & development.
