Job description

The Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Operate head or body x-ray scanners which create a computer generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan

2. Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations.

3. Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures.

4. Take patient medical history before an exam.

5. Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated.

6. Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.

7. Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients.

8. Supervised by a board certified radiologist but afforded a great amount of independence and responsibility

**Qualifications & Skills**

1. Must have a B.Sc / Diploma in Radiology Technology.

2. Required 2-8 Years of experience in a Hospital / Diagnostic Centre.

3. Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment.

4. Strong interest in scientific and technical skill and knowledge.

5. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.

6. Able to communicate effectively.

7. Able to perform well independently.

8. Able to follow detailed instructions.

9. Exact and precise.

10. Highly self-motivated

**Lifting Requirements**
- Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without restrictions.

**Job**:Full-time

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
