Responsibilities include:

- Greet visitors, guests, or customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive first impression of the organization.
- Assist with inquiries and provide accurate information about the organization's products, services, or facilities.
- Answer phone calls, transfer calls, and take messages as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it is presentable and well-stocked with necessary supplies such as brochures, forms, or other informational materials.
- Process check-ins and check-outs for guests or clients, verifying identification, collecting necessary information, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide keys or access cards and inform guests about relevant policies, amenities, and services.
- Assist guests or clients in making reservations or bookings, either in person, over the phone, or through online systems. Provide accurate information regarding availability, rates, and special promotions.
- Perform various administrative duties such as handling mail and packages, filing documents, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
- Use computer systems, software, or databases to input and retrieve information as required.
- Handle customer complaints, concerns, or issues promptly and effectively, seeking solutions and escalating problems to supervisors or relevant departments when necessary.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor, even in challenging situations.
- Monitor the reception area, ensuring unauthorized individuals do not enter restricted areas.
- Follow security protocols and procedures, including issuing visitor badges, monitoring CCTV cameras, and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Process payments, invoices, or transactions accurately, accepting cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment. Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile financial records at the end of each shift.
- Liaise with other departments, employees, or colleagues to relay information, coordinate guest requests, and ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Stay updated on relevant information, policies, and procedures related to the organization, its services, and any regulatory or safety requirements.
- Adhere to privacy and confidentiality guidelines, ensuring sensitive information is handled securely.
