**Job Description: Canteen Billing Associate**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Billing Operations**:

- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the designated billing software.
- Ensure all items purchased by customers are properly recorded and billed.
- Handle cash and card payments securely, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Reconcile cash registers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide prompt and courteous service to all canteen customers.
- Assist customers with any billing inquiries or discrepancies, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a pleasant environment for customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met and their experience is positive.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of canteen items and inform management of low stock.
- Assist in restocking shelves and refrigerators as needed.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to billing, cash handling, and customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and transaction records.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and billing activities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education in accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
- Proficiency in using billing and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Integrity and honesty in handling cash transactions and sensitive customer information.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Flexible schedule, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
