Field Officer - J& K Mountain Ungulate is responsible for field or on-site implementation of the project in association with the reporting manager and in line with the scientific and technical plan and all administrative and financial requirements of the Project.

**Responsibilities**:
Ø Conduct all the field surveys related to Markhor in Protected Areas (PAs) and non-PAs as planned for the year.

Ø Conduct surveys to assess threats on the markhor population in the area.

Ø Collect markhor fecal samples, store them and carry out preliminary processing of the samples.

Ø Enter the data recorded in datasheets for both markhor and hangul work into excel files and carry out preliminary data analysis for reports and manuscripts.

Ø Assist in conducting awareness programmes for locals and security forces in and around the study area

Ø Report periodically about work progress, as compiled monthly reports, and communicate to concerned PI s, line manager and HQ staff.

Ø Responsible for all field reports, photographic documentation, submission of data sheets etc as per the requirements of the PH.

Ø Responsible for all field level governmental and partner liaison at appropriate levels and local public relation needs in consultation with the PH.

Ø Responsible for acting as the on-site representative of WTI (at particular level) and to ensure that the image of WTI as a conservation action organization operating in the field is maintained at all times.

Ø Responsible for maintenance of all assets of the organization in the area of activity
