**Responsibilities**:
**Fuel Management**: Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of high-speed diesel (HSD) for construction equipment, vehicles, and generators.
**Inventory Control**:Monitor HSD inventory levels, track consumption patterns, and maintain adequate stock to support ongoing construction activities without interruption.
**Quality Assurance**: Ensure the quality and purity of HSD fuel by conducting regular inspections, testing samples, and adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
**Storage Facility Management**:Manage the storage tanks, pumps, and dispensing systems for HSD fuel, including routine maintenance, safety inspections, and compliance with environmental regulations.
**Vendor Relations**: Establish and maintain relationships with HSD suppliers, negotiate pricing contracts, and coordinate deliveries to optimize cost-effectiveness and reliability.
**Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate records of HSD transactions, including receipts, deliveries, consumption reports, and inventory reconciliations, to track usage and expenditures.
**Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, fire prevention measures, and hazardous materials regulations governing the handling and storage of HSD fuel.
**Team Coordination**: Coordinate with construction site managers, equipment operators, and maintenance personnel to schedule HSD refueling activities efficiently and minimize downtime.
**Budget Management**:Assist in budget planning and cost forecasting for HSD fuel expenses, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency.
**Emergency Response**: Develop and implement contingency plans for HSD spills, leaks, or other emergencies, and coordinate response efforts to mitigate environmental risks and ensure worker safety.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in fuel management, logistics, or procurement, preferably in the construction or transportation industry.
Knowledge of HSD fuel specifications, storage requirements, and safety protocols.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and industry best practices for fuel handling, storage, and transportation.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in record-keeping and inventory management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Leadership qualities, including the ability to coordinate and motivate a team to achieve operational objectives.
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
**Additional Requirements**:
Understanding of environmental sustainability principles and initiatives related to fuel consumption and emissions reduction.
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor environments, including construction sites and fuel storage facilities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
