Senior Test Engineer

Purpose & Overview:
This is an individual contributor position (no direct reports) that will be responsible for delivering on QA
test execution. This position is on the QA Delivery team which is part of a larger QA Team that will also
have a Performance and Automation Testing team and a Process and Audit team. This position is
includes the identification of Functional, Technical and Integration related defects; as well as the effective
documentation of defects to expedite resolution. This individual will work closely with the larger QA and
Functional teams with members in Bangalore India and Columbus Ohio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participation in Test Scenario and Test Case identification
- Creation and Maintenance of Test Scenarios and Test Cases
- Identification and Maintenance of Test Data
- Execution of Functional and System Tests
- Documentation of test execution utilizing test management tool.
- Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration related defects.
- Perform preliminary trouble shooting of defects to facilitate quick resolution
- Effectively communicate issues and risks in addition to daily testing status to Team Lead or Test Lead
- Should be able to run a project independently.
Qualifications - External

Qualifications: Required**:5-8 years of experience in the testing domain**:

- Hands On experience in **Order Management modules(Order Flows, Fraud, Payment,**
**returns/exchange, promo/coupons) and Store Fulfillment (SFS / BOPIS)**:

- Using any of the OMS tools like Active Omni, Manhattan DOM, IBM Sterling Commerce
- Experience in e-commerce
- Automation knowledge will be an added advantage
- Creates or reviews test scenarios and test cases that are in alignment with functional requirements.
- Ensures appropriate test data is defined and available in the test environment
- Executes and statuses test cases, including proof of testing.
- Clearly documents defects, and retests fixes in a timely manner.
- Partners with functional and technical partners in their domain.
- Experience with HP ALM / Quality Center, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.
- Delivery experience on projects in Agile methodology.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactive participation in Team environment
- Effective documentation and communication skills
- Demonstrates analytical skills to assist in solving problems and making decisions. Applies a systematic
approach to data gathering and analysis to assist in making key decisions supported by facts.

Pay: ₹250,920.13 - ₹1,271,161.75 per year
