**Groundwater Modeler** **(M/F/d) - 100 %**

**Your mission**:
The Groundwater Modeler will be responsible for developing and implementing groundwater models to assess and manage groundwater resources. This role involves utilizing advanced hydrogeological principles and numerical modeling techniques to support decision-making processes related to water resource management and environmental protection.

**Your Daily tasks**:

- Conduct sensitivity analyses and assess the uncertainty of model results.
- Incorporate geological, hydrogeological, and hydrological data into groundwater models.
- Data Collection and Analysis:

- Collect and analyze field data related to groundwater levels, aquifer properties, and water quality
- Interpret and integrate geological and hydrogeological data to improve model accuracy
- Model Validation and Calibration:

- Validate models against observed field data and refine models through calibration
- Identify and address limitations or uncertainties in groundwater models

**What we are looking for**:

- Master's or Ph.D. in Hydrogeology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and calibrating groundwater flow models
- Familiarity with relevant modeling software and tools

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in using groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW, or equivalent)
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
