4+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Elementary experience with data engineering, working with APIs, and managing AWS accounts.

The position is based in Hyderabad, but will interact daily with leaders in the US and Hyderabad.

We seek a quick-learner who can quickly familiarize themselves with a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership for a broad array of domains. Key job responsibilities
- Explore and develop expertise with internal Amazon data services and AWS products.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical and business needs.
- Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions. Analyze and validate data to maintain high data quality bar.
- Own advanced data extraction and basic data engineering needs for your customers.
- Own the maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, and other artifacts used to drive key business decisions.
- Create high quality documentation for your customers and team members.
- Work with team members and business customers to gather requirements.

About the team
Grocery Catalog Operations and Intel (GCOI) supports Amazon’s WW Grocery Catalog through New Item Setup, Audits & Edits, SOP management, Data management, Process Automation, etc.
