**Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Doors and Windows**
**Location: Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cost Estimation & Budgeting**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for doors and windows, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with overall project financial goals.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to assess material requirements and costs.

**Procurement**:

- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for doors and windows.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate bids and recommend suppliers and subcontractors based on cost, quality, and delivery time.

**Cost Control & Financial Management**:

- Monitor project expenditure and identify variances between planned and actual costs.
- Prepare regular financial reports for project management, detailing budget performance.
- Recommend cost-saving measures and manage change orders related to doors and windows.

**Contract Administration**:

- Manage contracts related to the supply and installation of doors and windows.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
- Handle any disputes or claims related to doors and windows, working closely with legal and project teams.

**Site Visits & Inspections**:

- Conduct site visits to verify the quantity and quality of work done related to doors and windows.
- Ensure that the installation of doors and windows is in line with project specifications and standards.

**Client and Stakeholder Communication**:

- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers regarding the scope, cost, and timeline for doors and windows.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on the financial status of the doors and windows aspects of the project.

**Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to doors and windows.
- Prepare and submit final accounts at the end of the project, ensuring all costs are accounted for.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional accreditation such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or similar is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a focus on doors and windows.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to doors and windows.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.

**Skills**:

- Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Experience**:
Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, with a focus on doors and windows.

Experience working on [specific types of projects, e.g., residential, commercial, etc.]
