**Job Description: Logistics Executive**

**Responsibilities**:
**Transport Coordination**:Plan, coordinate, and manage inbound and outbound shipments of building materials to various destinations.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth transportation and timely deliveries.

**Inventory Management**:Monitor inventory levels of building materials and liaise with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to manage storage, distribution, and order fulfillment.

**Transportation Optimization**:Optimize transportation routes and methods to minimize costs while ensuring timely deliveries.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Prepare shipping documentation, including tax invoices, delivery challans, packing list.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics-related data.
Provide regular reports on logistics performance and key metrics.

**Customer Service**:Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to address logistics-related inquiries and concerns.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate information about shipment statuses.

**Problem Solving**:Identify and resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Implement corrective actions to prevent similar issues in the future.

**Cost Management**:Monitor logistics expenses and work to optimize transportation and operational costs.
Participate in budget planning and cost reduction initiatives.

**Compliance and Safety**:Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to transportation, customs, and safety.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably within the building material or construction industry.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
