**Overview**:
AMEC Mobility, a leading innovator in the electric vehicle industry, is seeking a talented Transportation Designer to join our Electric Vehicle Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about shaping the future of transportation through innovative design concepts, integrating functionality and aesthetics in electric vehicles.

**Responsibilities**:
**Vehicle Conceptualization**: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine design concepts for electric vehicles, focusing on exterior and interior aesthetics, user experience, and functionality.

**Exterior and Interior Design**: Create compelling and innovative designs for the exterior body, interior layout, seating, and user interfaces, balancing aesthetics, ergonomics, and practicality.

**Form Development**: Develop 2D sketches and 3D models to explore various design concepts and refine them into feasible and production-ready designs.

**Material and Finish Selection**: Choose appropriate materials, colors, and finishes to enhance the visual appeal, durability, and sustainability of vehicle components and surfaces.

**User Experience (UX) Design**: Incorporate user-centric design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences within the vehicle, considering comfort, accessibility, and convenience.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs align with technical feasibility, market demands, and production requirements.

**Prototyping and Testing Support**: Create prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, gather feedback, and iterate for enhanced performance and user satisfaction.

**Documentation**: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including design rationale, specifications, and visual presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

**Trend and Innovation Awareness**: Stay updated with emerging design trends, technological advancements, and innovative ideas to incorporate into vehicle design concepts.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in transportation design, preferably in automotive or electric vehicle design.
- Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, CATIA, Rhino, or other relevant tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative transportation design concepts and projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in electric vehicle design or automotive design projects.
- Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and user research techniques.
- Knowledge of sustainability principles in transportation design and manufacturing.
- Understanding of aerodynamics and their integration into vehicle design.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹31,391.76 per month
