**Job Purpose/Objective**

Responsible for highly scalable, reliable and optimum cost trucking platform that powers all our businesses in SCO region. The revenue expected is approx. 25-300 cr as per estimates.This individual will own the supply strategy and relationships with multiple suppliers of trucks and will interact with all Businesses to coordinate trucking requirements as and where required. This includes managing fleet capacity, suppliers, procurement of services, cost management, Pricing and driving operational optimizations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create and execute supply planning strategies to meet category, department, project and customer needs.
- Prioritize activities and align with stakeholders to deliver supply across all businesses with high degree of predictability
- Manage supplier relationships and allocation of demands based on capability, capacity and priority.
- Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
- Work with businesses to identify opportunities for synergy leading to customer delight.
- Analyse industry trends and evolving technologies to proactively identify supply base opportunities to minimise risk, protect continuity of supply and utilise industry developments to benefit BCOs
- Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage and consolidate the supply base using technology.
- Manage supply buffers and allocation to shorten lead times and build resiliency into the supply chain without driving excess
- Drive supplier improvement initiatives to continually lower risk and reduce lead times
- Set up Control Tower to manage internal and external requirements
- Co-ordinate with different BUs to deliver service as per SLAs
- Manage utilization and ROI on own fleet of Trucks/Trailers
- Drive market hiring, e-bidding, reverse auctions to secure capacity
- Run day to day execution through on-line platform
- SME for future platform developments like TMS, Control Tower solutions etc.

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**
- Optimize container flows for Full Container Load movements for EXIM ISO containers and domestic containers
- Set-up end to end logistics for Full Truck Load and Part Truck Load movements pan-India for domestic cargo
- Experience in handling Project Logistics and managing Sensitive cargo in accordance with various National and International guidelines, and Conventions
- Manged / handled software development for Transport Management System
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good stakeholder management skills

- Experience in handling transport and Logistics for Containers, Express Logistics, 3PL, Contract Logistics
- Good strategic mindset and with experience and hunger to grow business and profitability
- Understanding and guiding tech development initiatives
- Managed team of professionals to deliver customer experience
- Understanding of operating economics of different types of trucks including flatbed containers
- Knowledge & sourcing of route-wise vendors operating different types of trucks
- 12-15 years of experience in Transport/Logistics
