Head of Department - Social Science (HOD SST)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Academic Leadership: Lead the Social Science Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Curriculum Development: Develop, implement, and review the Social Science curriculum in line with CBSE guidelines.
- Teacher Mentoring: Mentor and support Social Science teachers, facilitating professional development and sharing best practices.
- Assessment: Design and oversee assessments, evaluate student performance, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Administrative Duties: Manage departmental budgets, resources, and schedules efficiently.
- Extracurricular Activities: Promote and organize extracurricular activities related to Social Science, such as debates, seminars, and educational trips.
- Parent Communication: Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and departmental initiatives.
- Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with school policies and CBSE regulations.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Master’s Degree in Social Science or related field with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for Social Science education.
- Experience in curriculum development and teacher mentoring will be an added advantage.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
