Job Title: Asst Supply Chain Manager - Warehouse, Inventory, and Logistics

Company Overview:

As part of our commitment to excellence and efficiency, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Asst Supply Chain Manager to oversee our warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations.

**Job Description**:
The Asst Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations. This role involves strategic planning, process optimization, and team leadership to achieve company objectives and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Management:

- Lead and oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and material handling processes to maximize efficiency and space utilization.
- Implement best practices for inventory control, stock rotation, and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory levels.

2. Inventory Management:

- Develop and implement inventory management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
- Utilize inventory management systems and technology tools to track inventory movement, monitor stock levels, and forecast demand.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in inventory turnover and cost reduction.

3. Logistics Coordination:

- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling.
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers, negotiate rates, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor transportation performance, transit times, and delivery accuracy to meet customer requirements and service level agreements.

4. Supply Chain Planning:

- Develop and implement supply chain planning strategies to optimize sourcing, procurement, production, and distribution processes.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast demand, plan inventory replenishment, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, inventory shortages, and transportation delays.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse, inventory, and logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance and productivity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the supply chain team and across departments.
- Set clear goals and objectives, measure performance metrics, and provide feedback to drive accountability and achievement of targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience (4-6 years) in supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and process improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
