Fitter/welder (Mig/tig)

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As a Fitter-Welder, will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating and welding Mild steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components using various shop equipment and tools, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Read and interpret the fabrication & Assembly drawings
- Tagging of basement frame within drawing parameters.
- Align components precisely using callipers, rulers, etc., and perform welding operations using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
- Conduct testing and inspections of welded surfaces and structures to identify any flaws or imperfections.

**Day to Day responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and weld components according to specified layouts, engineering drawings.
- Maintain accurate daily records as required.
- Safely operate and use a variety of shop equipment and tools, including forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, grinders, cutting torches, and other hand tools.
- Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
- Fill daily production report accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work independently based on drawings and documentation.

**QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS**:

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of MIG Welding, TIG Welding, spot welding, Plasma cutting, Stud welding.

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**:

- ITI / Diploma from reputed institute.
- Min 4 - 6 years of experience as a MIG/TIG welder/Fitter in Heavy Fabrication.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
