**Responsibilities**:
- **Instructional Strategies**: Utilize a variety of pedagogical approaches and teaching strategies to engage students in active learning, critical thinking, and collaborative inquiry, fostering their intellectual curiosity and love for learning.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Design authentic, varied, and developmentally appropriate assessment tasks and strategies to measure student understanding, progress, and growth in alignment with IB assessment principles and practices.
- **Student Support and Differentiation**: Provide differentiated instruction and individualized support to meet the diverse learning needs, interests, and abilities of students, including those with special needs or English language learners.
- **Culturally Responsive Teaching**: Create a culturally inclusive and respectful classroom environment that values diversity, promotes intercultural understanding, and celebrates students' identities, languages, and cultures.
- **Parent and Community Engagement**: Communicate regularly and collaboratively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress, sharing information about the PYP curriculum, and seeking parental involvement in students' learning experiences.
- **Professional Development**: Engage in ongoing professional learning and development opportunities, including IB training workshops, conferences, and collaborative learning communities, to enhance teaching practice and stay current with IB pedagogy and standards.
- **IB Programme Implementation**: Contribute actively to the implementation and enhancement of the IB Primary Years Programme within the school community, participating in curriculum review, accreditation processes, and school-wide initiatives as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- IB Educator Certificate in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Previous experience teaching in an IB World School or familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme curriculum and philosophy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inquiry-based learning, transdisciplinary teaching, and constructivist pedagogy, with a commitment to student-centered, holistic education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Creativity, adaptability, and flexibility to design and implement engaging, authentic learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to ongoing reflection, professional growth, and continuous improvement in teaching practice, aligned with IB standards and principles.
- Understanding of and commitment to the IB learner profile attributes and the promotion of international-mindedness, global citizenship, and ethical responsibility among students.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
