Mathematics Teacher

**Overview**:
Shalom Residential Public School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. As a Math Teacher at Shalom, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the fascinating world of mathematics, fostering critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share best practices, and enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and pedagogical techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field ( B.Ed preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license in Mathematics (or eligibility to obtain certification).
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, preferably in a residential or boarding school setting.
- Strong knowledge of math curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
