Credit Controller

The main purpose of the Credit Controller role is to handle the collections activities of our Key Strategic Accounts with outstanding invoices and credits. This is a client facing position that also involves significant contact with internal partners, often requiring collaboration between teams to resolve issues with delinquent accounts. The individual will be responsible for meeting defined key performance targets while adhering to departmental policies and processes.

**This is an overnight shift, requiring individual to work U.S. business hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Initiate contact with customers to collect cash on unpaid invoices.
- Build trust and confidence with our Key Strategic Clients, acting as their advocate when issues are raised.
- Meet performance targets and operational objectives.
- Ensure adherence to the business engagement model, following touch point guidelines and making sure comments and tasks are recorded in the collections' system.
- Liaise with internal and external individuals to resolve billing disputes and queries.
- Form relationships with key partners in Finance, Sales and Operations.
- Perform cash reconciliations and research of unallocated and unidentified payments.
- Handle the breach of contract and disconnection process when payments cannot be collected where needed.
- Take ownership of actions from debt and provision meetings.
- Identify accounts that require special attention and act with urgency to resolve issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Highly motivated, task oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Confirmed customer service experience, ideally working with large international clients
- Demonstrated success running accounts receivable and resolving billing issues
- Ability to work under pressure and driven to achieve targets
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and tried ability to set and manage several priorities
- Ability to drive performance and ensure results delivery
- Excellent ability to speak and write in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong skills in excel
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Financial services industry experience desired
