Hvac Draughtsman

Job Summary: The HVAC Draughtsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for HVAC systems based on specifications provided by engineers and project managers. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure that all designs meet industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Drafting: Prepare detailed drawings of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts, using CAD software.
Design Support: Assist engineers in the design and layout of HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Documentation: Maintain and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules.
Coordination: Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
Site Visits: Conduct site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions as needed.
Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Revisions: Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
Quality Control: Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC drafting or a similar role.

**Skills**:Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
