Melting Supervisor

1.Required Knowledge : He should have good knowledge on material, machine and process as detailed

below.

1.a.Material Knowledge of Required as below:

- Should have good knowledge of Raw materials (Scrap) required for various grades of steel

(MS, SS304, SS304L, SS316, SS316L, SS410, SS2205)
- Should have good knowledge of Ferro alloys required for various grades of steel (FeSi, FeMn,

FeCr, FeMo, FeTi, CaSi, FeSiZr)
- Should have good knowledge of Final material grade steel of various international standard

(ASTM and BS EN ISO )

Plain carbon steels : WCB, WCC, LCB, LCC, 1.0619, 1.6220,

Low alloy steels : WC6, WC9, C5, C12, C12A, 1.7221, 1.7357, 1.7231

stainless steels : CF8, CF8M, CF3, CF3M, CF8C, CA15, CA40, 1.4308, 1.4309, 1.4408, 1.4409,

Duplex steels : ASTM A890 4A, 5A, 1.4470

Nickel base alloys -M35, Cu5MCuC, CW6MC, CW12MW,

1.b.Machine Knowledge Required as below:

- Should have good knowledge of Operation of Induction melting Furnace
- Should have good knowledge of Lining and patching of furnace and ladle.
- Should have good knowledge of Preventive maintenance of furnace and ladle.
- Should have good knowledge of Safety precautions to be followed in melting area

1.c.Process Knowledge Required as below:

- Should have good knowledge of Raw material identification for given material grade
- Should have good knowledge of Charge mix calculation to achieve required chemical

composition
- Should have good knowledge of Charge calculation for addition and dilution of alloying

element to achieve material specification.
- Should have good knowledge of Melting Procedure for given Grade of steel
- Should have good knowledge of Deoxidation Practice for given Grade of steel
- Should have good knowledge of Degasing Practice for given Grade of steel
- Should have good knowledge of No bake sand casting production line
- Should have good knowledge of Rejection related to melting.

2.Required skills : He should have excellent skills as detailed below.
- Able to minimize Rejection related melting, molding.
- Shall be a good team player.
- To perform production with effective Cost control and productivity improvement.
- Ensure the 5S implementation in shop floor.
- Computer Knowledge MS office and mail communication.
- Ensure Safety of each every individual involved in production activity.
- Manpower handling effectively.
- Committed to achieve the production target

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,086.00 - ₹25,072.67 per month
