IT Technician

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Hardware Networking and Server Installation**:

- Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components, including servers, routers, switches, and networking equipment.
- Implement and optimize network protocols and configurations to ensure seamless connectivity and data transmission.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning to support business growth and scalability.
- **Printer Troubleshooting and Systems Maintenance**:

- Diagnose and resolve printer-related issues, including connectivity problems, print quality issues, and driver conflicts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on PCs, printers, and other hardware devices to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of all IT equipment by performing routine checks and repairs as necessary.
- **Purchasing New Systems and Vendor Management**:

- Evaluate hardware and software requirements and procure new systems and equipment from vendors, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors to facilitate efficient procurement processes and timely support.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing terms to optimize value and minimize costs.
- **Cybersecurity Implementation and Data Security**:

- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption protocols, to safeguard against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations pertaining to data security and privacy, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with software vendors and service providers to address technical issues, implement updates, and optimize performance.
- **Remote Work Support and Collaboration**:

- Provide technical support and guidance to remote employees, ensuring access to essential IT resources and troubleshooting remote connectivity issues.
- Foster collaboration and communication between on-site and remote teams through the implementation of remote work technologies and tools.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in hardware networking, server administration, printer troubleshooting, and systems maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize procurement processes.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Cisco Certified Cyber Ops Associate are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
