**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in EV chargers, including issues related to power distribution, communication protocols, and charging interface compatibility, with a special emphasis on SMPS units.
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as power modules, control boards, connectors, and wiring harnesses, including SMPS components, to restore EV chargers to optimal functionality.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks and inspections on EV chargers, paying particular attention to SMPS units, to identify potential issues and ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Perform software updates, firmware upgrades, and calibration adjustments as needed to maintain compatibility and compliance with industry standards, considering SMPS integration.
- Test repaired EV chargers, focusing on SMPS functionality, to verify charging performance, communication functionality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document repair procedures, including parts replacements, diagnostic findings, and test results, accurately and comprehensively, with specific reference to SMPS repairs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and provide technical support to resolve complex repair issues and optimize repair processes, particularly those related to SMPS units.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Electronic Repair Technician, with a focus on repairing EV chargers or similar electronic systems, including expertise in SMPS repairs.
- In-depth knowledge of EV charger operation, including AC and DC power conversion principles, charging protocols (e.g., CCS, CHAdeMO, Tesla Supercharger), and vehicle interface standards (e.g., SAE J1772), with a specific focus on SMPS integration.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and CAN bus analyzers, and soldering electronic components, including SMPS units.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex electrical systems to identify and resolve faults efficiently, with a specialization in SMPS diagnostics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced repair environment, particularly when dealing with SMPS repairs.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide exceptional customer service, especially in the context of SMPS-related issues.
- Certification or formal training in electronics repair, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
